Scott, you might want to checkout NewEgg for the latest memory prices. You can get 1 GB PC3200 CAS 2.5 (512MB X 2) for $73. Ram has really been plummeting of late.

The system is 2.5 years old. Its all configurd and ready to edit. the reason I am selling it is because I need some money for other video equipment. Let me know if you are interested, because I already have some people that are looking at it.

I got my XL1 back from Canon's NJ maintenance facility just a few weeks ago, where they replaced the drum head, updated the firmware, and performed general cleaning and maintenance. It operates like a new camera. There are ZERO hours on the heads. I've always been very careful with my cameras, and this XL1 is in pristine physical condition -- no scratches, and nothing is loose.
