Interested, how much?

Scott Shama July 4th, 2005 08:00 PM

...............!

Tommy Haupfear July 4th, 2005 09:32 PM

Scott, you might want to checkout NewEgg for the latest memory prices. You can get 1 GB PC3200 CAS 2.5 (512MB X 2) for $73. Ram has really been plummeting of late.

Would you take $1400 for the camera only? And does the camera come with any other factory accessories, such as cables, battery, lens cap/hood, etc.? Thanks a lot, Clint Grant

The system is 2.5 years old. Its all configurd and ready to edit. the reason I am selling it is because I need some money for other video equipment. Let me know if you are interested, because I already have some people that are looking at it.

FS: Canon XL1 (with new drum) + xtras, 16X Manual Lens

upgrading cameras...

CANON XL1

I got my XL1 back from Canon's NJ maintenance facility just a few weeks ago, where they replaced the drum head, updated the firmware, and performed general cleaning and maintenance. It operates like a new camera. There are ZERO hours on the heads. I've always been very careful with my cameras, and this XL1 is in pristine physical condition -- no scratches, and nothing is loose.

the camera comes with:

standard package: color viewfinder, microphone, 1 battery, charger, carrying strap, shoulder brace, remote control, rca av cables
canon 16x OIS stock lens (perfect condition), including lens hood and caps
tiffen 72mm UV filter on lens
tiffen 72mm ND .3 filter w/ case
tiffen 72mm polarizer filter w/ case
tiffen 72mm black pro mist 1 w/ case
canon ma-100 xlr adapter
canon vl-10i on-camera video light (low hours on bulb)

i'll also include the receipt for the factory maintenance as this unit is now under warranty.

ASKING PRICE: $1800 plus actual shipping costs -- firm

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Canon 16X Manual Lens w/ lens hood, lens caps, and lens bag

ASKING PRICE: $900 plus actual shipping costs -- firm

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

i can provide pictures on request.

If there are no takers in a week from today, they'll be put up on ebay.

If you're interested, please feel free to email me. Regardless, thanks for looking.

Matthew Nayman July 6th, 2005 05:19 AM

canb you please send me a picture of the 16x?

Just an update to counter-balance the number of emails I have been receiving. The FX1 is still for sale and no extended warranty was purchased. The cam was bought from an authorized Sony Internet Dealer (there aren't many) and carries a manufacturer'rs warranty of 90 days labor and 1 year parts. Of which only 6 months remain on the parts warranty.

Please, no low-ball offers.

Britt Pena July 6th, 2005 11:46 AM

seems like the old GL1 is getting hard to find these days. Hopefully canon releases a GL3 soon and the used GL2's will drop down to an affordable price. Yup, still looking for a GL1 for around $1000 or a GL2 for around $1400.
Thanks

Your demo looks really good, we should talk about doing some projects.

Sony HDV Camcorder W/aspect Pro Hd $2850.00 Or Trade

SONY HDR-FX1 W/ASPECT PRO HD $2850.00 OR TRADE

I purchased the camcorder from B&H on November 30, 2004. It has been used less than 5 hours total. I purchased Aspect HD Pro online from Cineform.

All original packaging and accessories included plus a Sony AC-V700A Power Adapter/Charger, a Sony NP-F770 Info-Lithium Battery Pack and a Tiffen 72mm UV Protector Filter.

Buyer will be provided the original Aspect Pro HD Serial number and the Deactivate Key code which will allow the new owner to register with Cineform as the new registered owner.

I will consider a partial trade for Matrox RT-X100 hardware.

I have not worked professionally since 2002 and my current health problems prevent me from doing anything but being a hobbyist. I had plans that I would go back into Wedding Videography but I had a heart attack in March and had to have Cardiac bypass surgery. I have no plans for future work other than as a hobby. I don't need HDV.

I am located in Western North Carolina and will be happy personally show camcorder to anyone who is in the area.

Shipping & Insurance is included in the price if buyer is located within continental USA.

Any new word on this??

Sharon Fraats July 7th, 2005 03:12 PM

I do not want to make this look like some kind of scam or anything close to it. I went to look at the equipment with a gaffer friend of his the one who sold him the Omnis. He looked over the mess in the basement and I have to say that I was shocked at how messy it was. We cleaned it up and sorted out the lights and came to the following conclusion.
First now we know why he had his heart set on the camera being sold as it is the really the only thing that is going to bring money into the house.

Stewart the gaffer bought back the Omnis as he did us good and will continue to help out him out when he needs to use the lights and Stewart’s camera. The Arri he says is good as it was bought last year. He just sold the ME-67, as there was a person in the area that was going to pay a fair market value.

The tripod is a Bogen/Manfrotto 3066, the other lights are old and I mean old the 1,000ks are from Comprehensive not much there.

Stewart says the following is worth selling:

1 Panasonic AG-DVC 200, w/gold mount Anton/Bauer battery plates, two trim line batteries, & 1 Fujion 65 mm x 123 ME 66K6 Sennheiser Shotgun w/ K6 module microphones included with camera, and AG DV 2000 DV tape deck with camera sale

1 ADVC-200 Bi-Directional Media Converter
1 Century Optics Wide Angle lens adaptor
1 Bogen 3066 head w/Manfrotto Tripod
1 Bogen heavy duty carrying case
1 Lowell omni light kit
1 Arri 300
12 Assorted lengths of Star Quad XLR cables
Assorted ground lifts, XLR pads and splitters

Sorry guys I do not know what to say or do….

Sharon

Are the C stands not worth selling?

Sharon Fraats July 8th, 2005 08:08 AM

Not at all shipping would cost more that's what Stewart said as he gave them to him as they were being junked from his company. Yeah they would do in a pinch however they are not really easy to work with.

What is the arm brace and body pod and how much MSRP cost does that add to the entire package?

Henry Cho July 8th, 2005 10:58 AM

price reduced to $1650

i'm reducing the price of the camera to $1650.00.

i'd like to sell this here if i can. i love this camera, and i know it would be in good hands with the members of this board. i'm putting this up on ebay after the weekend.

thanks.

and tim, thanks for the good word :)

Josh Caldwell July 8th, 2005 11:08 AM

The Glidecam 2000 pro retails for $299. The body pod is $169. The arm brace is $149. So, at a store like B&H you'd pay about $620. I'm offering the whole package for $300, plus about $20 extra for shipping.
