Hi Ed.

No, it's not less expensive there. As you mention, it just doesn't come with additional accessories. On eBay it states, "Unit comes with all standard accessories and original box." On the dealer website, it states, "Basic package includes DSR-250 Camcorder RMT-811 Remote Commander 4 MB Memory Stick Picture Gear 4.1 Lite USB driver for PC and Mac Directional monaural microphone (ECM-NV1) DXF-801 viewfinder Lens Hood Lens."

What I'm selling with it is all necessary stuff I bought separately: Case, Tripod, Batteries, Charger, ect.

I researched used 250s extensively before I settled on a price, and this is pretty much in line with what I've seen. Even the one on eBay, when you consider that it is without additional accessories, is in the same price range as what I am asking.

We can talk about price, but I won't be coming down to the price it is on eBay. They simply aren't selling all that I am selling. And I won't be splitting up the package.

Thanks,
Lisa

WTB Sony DSR 200 or 250

Ed.

FYI, I believe the basic kit does *not* include tripod plate, batteries and charger. Those things all need to be bought separately.

"Basic package includes DSR-250 Camcorder, RMT-811 Remote Commander, 4 MB Memory Stick, Picture Gear 4.1 Lite USB driver for PC and Mac, Directional monaural microphone (ECM-NV1), DXF-801 viewfinder Lens, Hood Lens."

Hope this helps.

Interested in a super mint Canon Optura 300?
(extras: SLS 2X tele-converter & 4HR battery)

email : stevenyc1@aol.com

Patrick Moreau December 16th, 2004 07:35 PM

After a large Canon bill I have to sell either my XL1s or my vx2000. If i went with the XL1s it would be with brand new heads, just got them replaced by Canon because it was eating the tape when rewinding. Also has a large portabrace case, canon video light and the MA200.

I have proof of the replacement heads, they also did a complete inspection and cleaning, so I guess that makes it refurbished. Has about 5 min on the new heads. Obviously i would be asking more than what you could get an older xl1s by itself for but if your interested let me know.

Glidecam 1000

What are the chances I could get 200 shipped for my good used glidecam 1000?

Bob Costa December 16th, 2004 08:16 PM

Sorry I can't resist. <g>

Are you looking for a consultation or making an offer to sell it?

Rhett Allen December 16th, 2004 11:21 PM

yea, don't start that "just testing the waters" crap I've seen on other boards! You either want to sell it or you don't!

What are the specs of the 1000 anyway? Any links to images or articles?

Gage Luce December 17th, 2004 12:26 AM

This is a sale. Sorry for the wording. Not 'testing' the water or looking for consultation, just looking to move it.

Thanks, and sorry for any confusion.

Cliff Hepburn December 17th, 2004 09:20 AM

Do you have any pictures of the unit itself? Especially the human contact area. Maybe even somedetail shots on how to hold it. I hope I'm not asking too much.
I don't know what the company is thinking with thier marketing photos on thier website.

Sony PVM-8045Q 9" Portable Production Monitor with Case

I have a mint condition (used only on a 3 day shoot) Sony 8045Q 9in Prodcution Monitor for sale. Includes a Porta-Brace case.

Monitor is like new. Not a blemish of any sort. Was put into Porta Brace immediately. Been sitting in my closet for the past two years. I upgraded to a HD model awhile back and just don't need it anymore.

This model can resolve 450 lines and can do 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. Can use AC power or takes NP-1 style batteries. Sony's top of the line a few years back, I paid $1100 from B&H just for the monitor. The case cost me $200.

Any questions, email me!

Asking $850

Wow, thanks for finding those links. The reviews are right. For it's small size this combination is incredible. The sound is very appealing for home theatre set-ups.

Also, if anyone is considering delving into the world of 5.1 DVD production you can hook this up to your digital out soundcard and have a very true feeling of what your final product will sound like

For Sale: VX2000 + Accessories

i am selling my sony vx2000 with ALL the accessories. that includes everything that came with the camera, plus extras (see below list).
the package includes:
-sony DCR-VX2000 (NTSC)
-canon 58mm UV filter
-sony NP-F960 battery (this is the highest capacity battery sony makes - 9 hours)
-original manuals (french and english)
-all original accessories (2 eye cups, remote control, charger and cable, original battery, lens hood, lens cap, memory stick, USB memory stick reader, sony picture software, etc.)
-cleaning cassette
-original vx2000 box and styrofoam
-everything that came with the camera

the camera has been serviced BY SONY (not by an unauthorized third party) last april, and ensured me that it met factory refurbished condition. this means you are getting an essentially 8 month old camera. upon talking with the sony tech that did the servicing, out of curiosity i asked him how the heads look (after hearing about people being very worried about head wear). he said that they are in perfect condition and not to worry at all.

the reason i must sell my gear is simple:
outstanding debts + lack of job = liquidation of my valuables
throwing christmas time into the equation only makes it even worse! (and i'm a full time student to boot!)

it's sad really because i love this cam and it's been with me through two productions. rest assured this camera has been babied. the camera element ALWAYS was protected with a UV filter. the glass is in immaculate condition. the only imperfections present are cosmetic (some small little scratches on camera housing and microphone is just a TINY bit loose), everything works and functions perfectly.
i thought i'd post an ad on the message boards before i put it on e-bay.
if anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. all questions are welcome, no matter how "stupid" or "beginner" any might seem. everyone must start somewhere.

here is a web page containing some pics of the gear: http://shralperbmx.tripod.com/sonydcrvx2000package/
*please note that in some of these pictures, a century optics lens adapter is shown. this item is the only item NOT included with the package.

anyone who is interested please contact me and we can discuss pricing.
my email is: chrisnicholas27@icqmail.com
thanks
