For sale is a PSC DV Promix 3 field mixer and a Petrol PEGZ-3 audio bag. I am only selling them together as a set.

The DV Promix 3 by PSC is an outstanding 3-channel field mixer. It has great preamps and can take mic or line source and provide phantom power for condensers. It also has balanced outputs at mic level, line level and studio line level, as well as an unbalanced mic level stereo 1/8" output and a tape return for monitoring your capture rather than the mixer's output. This is a very versatile mixer and preamp that will meet any of your location sound needs. It has been babied and is in excellent condition. I am not a sound professional...I am a visual artist who uses field recordings sometimes, so it has not seen heavy-duty use (though it is certainly capable of it!)

It can be powered by either 9v batteries (it will work with either 1 or 2 batteries, with 2 giving longer battery life) or it can be powered by the included AC adapter. The AC adapter in this sale also comes with a pigtail that has a right-angle plug for the back of the mixer so it can sit comfortably in the bag while running from mains power. As I said, this mixer is in excellent condition with no problems and almost no marks or other indications of use. You can read more about the features of the field mixer at the following two links:

The Petrol PEGZ-3 bag is the perfect size for this mixer and comes with four detachable holders for wireless mic receivers. It has all of the original attachments, dividers and straps. It is in excellent condition except for a small tear in the transparent cover (detailed in one of the photos). This has never affected its use...if it concerns you then you can always order a replacement cover from Petrol for $7.50 (see this link: http://www.petrolbags.com/product/63...ver_for_PEGZ-3).

Just a sort of OT question - are you still using tape or something else? I use my 110 with a Ninja these days. Still a great camera for Web stuff.

I use the AB setup and with a 140 WA battery I can run more than 3 hours and the battery is still kicking.

I'm curious to know if there is one for sale? I turned my camera on today and the viewfinder is black but LCD working.Curious to know if there is one available and price? Not sure how to tell if it is viewfinder problem only or something else causing it. It records video and audio so hope it is just the viewfinder.

Added to my watchlist. The one for the HD250, will that work on the hd100? I sent seller a question so hopefully it is.

Have you heard of many of the viewfinders going bad on the hd100? I did some searching but only saw a couple of problems via web. I found an old post in this forum and someone mentioned they cleaned the contacts and their viewfinder began working again. Post mentioned they used marine grade electronic cleaner. My contacts look clean to and the pins are not bent or broken. First major problem I have had with this camera. It's been a good trusty old thing. lol

I honestly don't know if the one for the 250 would work on the 100. I DO know that the one for the 100 won't wok on the HM700, JVC changed a lot of stuff on the 700 series.
Personally I wouldn't take the chance they are both the same size IIRC. I'd get the one for the 100/110.
