4ft Medium MYT Works MYTGlide & Case $1950

Looking to sell my 4ft Medium MYTGlide. Bought it just over 3 years ago and it’s been really good to me, but I am now needing to go in a different direction for a slider.


Some of the advantages of the MYTGlide are super lightweight (14.4lbs), can hold up to 80 lbs (I was never able to max it out even with a full Red One and 150mm Sachtler head on it!), and super compact (only 7” wide!).


The slider does have some normal wear on it. A few, very minor, nicks in the rail (doesn’t hurt the slide smoothness at all) and the wood end caps are banged up some.


Includes an ATA case that I found to fit the slider just perfectly. I partitioned the case so there is a storage section to hold adapters and other accessories.


The red mitchell to 100mm bowl adapter is not included, but can be included for an extra $140.


Brand new at mytworks.com the slider is, with no case, $2175.

I am looking for a new or slightly used wireless system. I prefer two channel, or dual systems, one with lav and one with the plug in mic. Open to ideas but like Senheiser, Lectrosonic, Sony. If you have a system you are not using, why not pass it on to someone who will? Need to be in good shape, not interested in illegal channels in U.S., best if UHF. Having a clear out of some great gear which I just don't have the time to use anymore:

Canon XLH1 - overall good condition, took a little knock a few years back which resulted in:
- a small amount of play in the catchplate dock - this has been worked around.
- one of the rubber feet that hold the mic in place is partially torn away, makes the mic droop a little

Neither of the above have any impact on the functionality or image/sound quality.

EOS adapter for using with Canon EOS lenses with a 7.2 crop factor ( ie great for long lens/wildlife work)
Standard 20x HD Lens
1.4x lens extender.

Tripod - Vinten vision Blue head with Sachtler 2 stage Carbon legs from Video 18P (with bowl stepdown):
Legs are well used but working perfectly - Vision Blue head has probably only been used a couple of times and is near mint. Very smooth and easy to balance. Includes fully padded carry bag. Great tripod for mid size DSLR rigs or camcorders.

I'd be looking for around £900 for this.

Letus Extreme 35mm adapter - great condition, a little scratched on the docking point for the rail stand.
Optically perfect. Includes canon FD adapter and 35mm f2.8 FD lens with FF gearing.

Im looking for a Sony or Canon camera that would be tapeless. Looking to upgrade from my smaller camera that takes SD cards. I could use a camera with a tape, but would need a tapeless recorder to be with it. Once I went to SD cards from tape, it is hard to go back to tape. Looking just to upgrade to a bigger camera with more features than my little camera. Been in video for awhile as a hobby and want to step up some. I have had Pro Sony and Canon mini dv cameras before, but since I got a tapeless camera just to carry along easy I don't like tapes any more.
