Sachtler DV 10 SB fluid head
 

Hi all,
Up for grabs is my beloved Sachtler DV 10 SB 100mm fluid head. I've had the head for about 2 1/2 years but it has seen little use in this time. It is in excellent condition & works perfectly with just a few very light scratches on the top plate where the camera connects via the quick release plate.
Since i have sold the EX-3 that i bought this head for, & am now using a Panasonic GH4, this head is just a little too much for that setup with a light lens.

Svein: have you tested this lens on your F3? I rented one for a day and found it nearly unusable for handheld work, at least the way my F3 was configured. On the tripod, not a bad lens, though.

Hi.
Unfortunately, no.

I haven't`even had the chance to see it in person. My plan is to use it on a tripod and sometimes shoulder mounted via a Movcam baseplate with integrated shoulder support.

I have heard it is a big and heavy lens, but I can`t seem to find any other with that zoom range/ price ratio.

Svein: it is big and heavy. I was about to just rent it for an overseas trip, but a buddy of mine had one, so I rented it from him for a day for tests. If I had pulled this lens out of the box a day before getting on a plane, I probably would have burst into tears like an 8 year old suddenly informed the trip to Disneyland had been cancelled.

It's that heavy and awkward. It's also fairly slow. But: if you are primarily using it on the sticks in controlled lighting or outdoors, the zoom range and power zoom can't be beat.

Selling lightly used Comer-1800 Lights 2nd Generations. Two have the spotlight option with the tungsten filter and one has a diffuser and the tungsten filter. I used these for weddings and didn't use the spot light or diffusers just the Tungsten filter to give me the most light. They look and work great for on camera mounting or putting on a light stand for weddings.
