Re: Wanted Battery for JVC GY HD-100U(A)
Hi Paul,
I prefer to get it from US and to save some time, too. I am looking for one longer than the short 20 min original. Can't do much with a 20 min battery. Love the camera though. I saw a few on ebay but they have 4 prongs and my battery has 3. I guess maybe its because they are for more than one camera. Since the 4th prong wont be touching anything in the charger or the camera, perhaps one of those might be the right battery. Hate to buy the wrong one and be stuck. |
Re: Wanted Battery for JVC GY HD-100U(A)
Lisa,
Did you look thru Amazon? A couple of years ago I got a 3rd party battery for my HM100 and it packed more MaH than the stock JVC batteries. It was also quite inexpensive. |
Re: 60D and batteries
Moving to ebay. Sale is closed.

Re: Wanted Battery for JVC GY HD-100U(A)
2200mAh cells are the longer ones - Sony, JVC and Panasonic have all used the same form format, but changed the number of conductors, and the keyway - so getting the correct one is vital.

Re: Wanted Battery for JVC GY HD-100U(A)
Lisa,
What you need is not yet another lousy stock battery, but a professional high capacity battery. You will have to invest a bit but it's well worth it if you need to operate your HD-100 away from power sources. Something like this: http://pro.jvc.com/pro/pr/2008/images/aqua_kids3.jpg |
Re: Wanted Battery for JVC GY HD-100U(A)
Thanks again for the help!
Ervin, saw the pic and that looks extra nice :) I'll check thru amazon too to see what I can find. I do need something way longer than the terrible few minutes we get with that original.. ugh Hope I can find something soon. |

WTT: Lectrosonics IFB
I got a good deal on a Lectrosonics r1a IFB receiver in near-mint and fully functional condition; unfortunately it's in a different block than my transmitter. I'm looking to swap my block 944 for an identical unit in block 26.
Thank you! |
Looking to Purchase an A7S?
So, looks like there's a $500 rebate going on when you buy an A7s and a Atomos Shogun together. I'm planning on getting a Shogun this week, does anyone want to go in for the A7s and split the rebate?
Weird question but thought I'd ask... |
Re: Looking to Purchase an A7S?
I can tell you where to get a legit A7s for $500 cheaper without having to buy the Shogun... just email me. :)
(offer is open to all - just don't share the secret!) |

Audio-Technica AT825 stereo condenser mic with pouch, cable, windsock
4 Attachment(s)
For sale is an Audio-Technica AT825 stereo condenser mic. This mic has two capsules fixed at a 100-degree angle inside the head and captures outstanding stereo sound. It is a fantastic mic for location sound, sound effects/foley, or any instance where you want a lifelike stereo image.
Price is $325 shipped in CONUS (by paypal only) or $300 with local pickup in Tempe, AZ. Will ship worldwide at cost. I don't have any history in this forum but lots on ebay (user "Saramago1") and also on photography forums including largeformatphotography.info and apug.org (both as user "at680"). My personal website is www.terrywilliams.ca. It is a sensitive condenser mic that can be powered by 1 AA internal battery or by phantom power anywhere from 11V-52V (this is handy if you have a preamp that has the option of supplying 12v or 15v phantom, as your preamp batteries will last much longer on location using this setting.) This sale includes the mic in very good condition, as well as the 5-pin XLR splitter cable that gives you left and right 3-pin XLR outputs. Also included are a new Audio Technica OEM foam pop screen and a Rycote furry "windjammer" cover that goes over the foam for reducing wind noise outside. All of this comes in a zippered case to keep the items together and dust-free. There are no problems with any parts of this set...everything works as it should. Here is a link to the manufacturer's website: http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/wi...e09/index.html And here is the page for the mic on recordinghacks.com: http://recordinghacks.com/microphone...Technica/AT825 |
