Testing the Water XL-1s and XL-1. You need to at least look at this one...
Hey everybody. I am thinking about selling my two cameras to take the hdv plunge. I wanted to see if there would be any interest in on here. I havea canon xl-1s with a manual 16x lens, ma-200 adapter and the fu-1000 viewfinder. I also have a CH-910 dual charger to go with it. THis is a sweet setup.
Along with that, I have an xl1 with lens (xl-1s stock lens) and I have an ef adapter and some misc lens that I have never used. I bought one camera used and it came with it and I never used it. Ive got power cords for them and one remote. i take care of my equipment. Both have less than 25 hours on them since their last cleaning. I use them in a multi camera setup, so half the time there is not even a tape in them. They work flawlessly. I would love to sell them together of course, but i will seperate the cameras if needed. i'll throw in a .6 wide angle lens if someone wants to pick up both of them... I do have pics, so email me if interested. I would like to start around $5000.00, but I AM negotiable, so dont hesitate in shooting me over a price. It can't hurt, right? I am currently in the final stages of a contract with a client. The sell of this is contingent on that going through, however, I don't forsee any problems. We've agreed to terms, just need to sign the contract. Thank you much! Bryon

Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0
I'm selling this software brand new with the serial number and manual. I don't use any Adobe products as I use Sony Vegas to capture. The3 software came with the Pyro ADV capture device. If interested, name a competitive price and I'll consider the offer.

My advice from the pain in the butt of trying to sell my XL1's?
Sell them seperatly. Sell any big ticket items seperatly (the manual lens). Sell any small individual items seperatly. Firesale what's left on Ebay. Currently an XL1 is worth about $1500, you might be a little on the high side.

At this point, I've got some time to spend on it. Im figuring about1500 for the xl1 and 3500 for the xl1s, because of the lens viewfinder shoulder mount etc...

Not sure what camera you are looking to buy, but if it is the XLH1 you might want to consider keeping the 16x manual lens. It works very well with that camera.
Also, I just sold my FU-1000 on ebay for $850.00 and there is a gentleman on this forum right now looking for one. Mike

FS: 2 Viewsonic 19" monitors & Nvidia FX-1300 card
I'm upgrading editing system to 1080 HD and need new monitors and graphics card.
Two ViewSonic VP930b 19" matched monitors are PERFECT. (720p compatilbe, I believe: 1280x1024 rez) No stuck pixels. No dead pixels. Only perfect pixels! Graphics card is Nvidia Quadro FX-1300. (Works perfectly with Avid Express Pro system and Photoshop CS 2.) All bought new by me about 15 months ago. Approx. $1250 worth of gear in PERFECT condition. (Am at work now so I don't have pictures yet. Will get pics asap...) If interested, please respond with very best offers. Will consider anything "reasonable." Thanks, Mike |
