This housing offers excellent protection from water, sand, or snow. They were never offered in the U.S.. This came from Japan.

I bought two of these for two pdx10 cameras to be used in a municipal project on a waterpark. Ended up using one camera, so this kit is as new unused and ready to go.

I paid over $400 shipped. I'll take $285 for this one shipped in the continental US.

Some people asked about the goodies. They are:

• Six batteries (compatible with DVX/HVX): 1 1600mAh, 3 2200mAh, 2 3200mAh.
• Additional battery charger.
• B+W protective filter (which means the real lens has never come into contact with the elements)
• Panasonic shoulder bag.

For an additional $199, I will include a Beachtek DXA-6. This battery-driven, dual-XLR, phantom-powered unit will turn the camcorder into a mini-DVX at a fraction of the cost. I've successfully used it to record shorts with professional, condensor mics (and I'll gladly provide audio samples!)
