Nick Wilcox-Brown September 28th, 2008 02:13 PM

It has been on the board for a week, so a few more details might help....The camera can accurately be described as mint - it looks like it has just come out of the box.

I have mainly used it to get familiar with video and have loaded and experimented with many of the colour presets posted on the XH-A1 list.

The price is GBP 1650+ VAT (£1938 incl) for the camera. I'm shortly upgrading to an EX1 with Letus, so sensible offers accepted.

Drop me a personal message or a email me through my web site.

Xh-a1

I have a XH-A1 that I bought to upgrade from my Canon XL2. After playing with it a bit I realized that my skill level and needs are closer to the capabilities of the XL2 than the XH-A1.

For sale including all original equipment and two training DVD videos, the better one by Douglas Spotted Eagle, "Inside the Canon XH-A1 and XH-G1", produced by VASST. The second DVD is from Elite Video, also for the XH-A1. Both are highly rated, but I prefer the VASST version.

Price is $2,600 including shipping and insurance, both DVDs, and original accessories. I don't have the original factory box, but it will be well packed.

If you (or anyone else) are interested, please reply to me via private message.

Petrol PCCB-N1 Soft Camcorder Case $100 - Fits XH-A1, GL2, and similar

I'll take $100 (or best offer) including shipping anywhere in the US48 (sorry no international orders, not even Canada... I've had bad luck shipping to Canada lately). I prefer PayPal or Google checkout, but I'll take checks or money order.

It's the Petrol PCCB-N1 case like this one on B&H:
Petrol | PCCB-1N Compact Camcorder Bag | PCCB-1N | B&H Photo

Mine didn't come with the free lens hood, so that's not included. Case is in perfect shape, used for about a year, very clean, no stains, rips, or tears. The case itself is very comfortable to carry, it has a nice elastic stress-relief shoulder strap. The sides are pretty sturdy and I feel comfortable "throwing" it around. Plenty of room to hold about 15-20 DV tapes, charger, all cables, spare batteries, and some filters with room to spare. I also have the original box (sorry, not pictured), and will ship it to you in that.

I'm going to be replacing this with a hard case (Pelican or equivalent) and really don't have any use for this anymore.

Need to sell pretty quick, so let me know asap by private message or email nick -at- superium pro -dot- com

Do you have any pictures?

Kees van Duijvenbode September 29th, 2008 12:14 AM

Dave, are you willing to ship the CB105 to the Netherlands? If so, what are the extra costs?

Phil Bowen September 29th, 2008 12:26 AM

All right.
Anyone interested in this package *minus the FD 50mm F1.2 lens* for $300 inc. shipping? Remember this adapter can also use Nikon F Mount AI/AIS lenses if you reverse the mount.
That's a crazy cheap way to get into 35mm adapters for your XL series camcorders...

Bruce S. Yarock September 29th, 2008 04:37 AM

Dave,
I'm interested in the other cb105. Does that one have the counter weight/

Feeler... Canon XH-A1

DV Info Community:

I am considering selling my Canon XH-A1 camera, as I have not used it much lately (new job, new home, cross-country move, etc.). I hate to sell it, but I just haven't had time to use it much lately.

This HD camcorder is in pristine condition both cosmetically and functionally. There are approximately 20 hours on the drum. I have only used only Sony Premium (DVM60PRR in blue wrapping) tapes with it; no other brands. Includes all original accessories, including the original box. Also included is a 72mm UV filter I've kept attached to the lens; I will also throw in a non-OEM high capacity battery.

I've kept it stored in a Pelican case when not in use (although not part of the sale). Further, it is from a smoke-free, pet-free home. As I said above, it has been used sparingly and is in mint condition. I can take and send photos if you'd like.

Price = $2,800 + actual U.S. shipping (I prefer FedEx).

Forms of accepted payment are Cashier's Check, Paypal and Paypal eCheck. You will have to cover Paypal's 3% surcharge if you choose that method. (Paypal eCheck is a nice alternative and only costs $5 -- which I will eat; however, I can't ship until payment clears which takes a few business days).

Thanks for looking.

Hi there Guys,

Sorry for not updating in a while but I just need one more thing:

-Need Original Canon battery for the XHA1. If you have extra battery original dont want third parties...cant risk the camera after reviewing the thread about the third party getting stuck. I need it soon so please let me know and i can make payment right away.

Thank you guys :).

Alex Humphrey September 30th, 2008 06:04 PM

Does this mean you have a 17x or a 13x? Sorry just always looking for frame grabs to see if I want to REALLY buy a 17x. The 13x seriously rocks though.

Justin Ferar September 30th, 2008 06:27 PM

I have the 17x on the cam. As long as you stay away from the extremes they are indistinguishable. The 17X is a bit wider and has a much sportier zoom servo. At extremes the 17x is sharper.

Having used both the 16x and the 17x extensively I'm not sure that I would spend the $3K on the 17x if I were on a budget. But times are good so- I did.

Nikon 80-200 F4.5 in fab condition. I have lenses a couple of years old that don't look as good. This lens is a manual lens and gives nice results. I have used it on the HD110 and have been happy with footage. Also easy to focus.
