I have 2 Sony HDR-FX1 cameras. The cameras are in great condition and come in the original packaging with the included accessories and manual. I estimate that each camera has 175 head hours (estimated life is approximately 4,000 hours). I have used Sony DVC Premium Series tapes and have had flawless performance. The cameras have had UV protector filters on since they came out of the box.

You will see in the photos that one of the cameras has been fitted with a shockmount to hold microphones. This has come in handy from time to time. I can leave it or replace it with the original cover if you prefer.

I am selling these because I need to purchase 2 more Canon XH-A1's.

However, I must admit this baby is a rock solid device and functioned terrificly.

It mounts between your XL2, XHA1, XHG1, XLH1 and your tripod giving you a much better mount than the dinky hole on the bottom of your camcorder. Then when it's time to go handheld, slide the red lever forward and it releases from the tripod - it's a great little device.

I have been looking at getting one for a while and absent the ability to test one, I might just have to take the plunge to find out (no dealers near Boise that carry it).

I have a few questions....

Does this have the ability to attach to a tripod in its current state, or will I need the adapter? (I can't tell if the bracket in the plastic bag in this picture is the adapter or something else).

Also, I have an external VHF (unfortunately not UHF) receiver as well as (potentially) a Beachtek. Can the Beachtek mount between the camera (in this case my GL2) and the Multirig and still work with the tripod mount?

It is a GREAT feature, and it works everytime.

i wish you could afford it too...i really need to sell it before i leave for training! having said that- its an excellent cam that has proven more versatile than i expected- from shorts to commercial work to corporate projects.
