FS : LetusXL 35mm adapter for Canon XL mount

Hey guys,

I'm selling my recently acquired LetusXL adapter, which fits only on XL-series Canon cameras like my XL2. I bought this almost-new 1 month ago on eBay from a powerseller and was quite satisfied with the transaction.

It is in great shape, looks a bit DIY (that's how all LetusXL are) but gives great images with a smooth bokeh. Pictures with my XL2 are great, but a bit smoother than with the 20x lens on. According to Quyen Le (maker of this adapter) on his website, it loses approx. 1 1/2 f-stops and has a 1.9x zoom factor. It comes with a reversable Nikon/Canon mount and 2 batteries. You can mount it with a 28 or 50mm lens on without any rail system, but I wouldn't advise that, as the total weight gets the adapter down a bit.

The reason I'm selling is that I don't like much the 1.9x zoom factor of the adapter and would like to get the more rugged and luminous LetusXL Extreme from the Le brothers when it comes out later this year. I'm keeping my Nikon lenses so please, don't bother asking! :-)

I'm asking for 650$ or better offer, shipping and insurance included. Will only ship to Canada or the US. I know I'm a fairly new member here, but I'm honest and will answer any questions you guys got, just PM me!

I'll post pics later for those interrested!

Thanks for looking,

Gabe

Bogen/Manfrotto 505 For Sale or Trade!

I was fortunate to get my hands on a hard to find Bogen/Manfrotto 505 Video Tripod Head and wow is this thing mean, but it is way to much for my little Canon and I want to either trade it or sell it. This head is in like new condition and is missing 3 of the four load springs, but they can be picked up any where on the internet cheap, it has the 4.4 to 11 pound spring in it now so it covers a broad range of cameras. Here is the link to one of the heads I was able to find on google, http://www.vistek.ca/details/details...WebCode=203481 and they are around $1300.00 new in price and I am looking to trade for a 503 with a tripod or get $600 out of it. If you are interested let me know and I can get you pictures of mine. I also have the PDF file with all of the info on this head straight from Manfrotto if you are interested.

FS: Apple Macbook Pro 2.4GHZ

This is pretty much a brand new macbook pro. I bought it for on location photo shoots, but I have decided to go a different route. It has been powered on maybe a total of 1 hour. Specs are below. In this configuration, apple wants $3399.00. I'm asking $2850 shipped. Google checkout is the preferred method of payment. I have references here, at fredmiranda.com, as well as heatware under JonS. Local pickup is also acceptable.

Specs:

2.4GHZ Core 2 Duo
4 GB DDR2 Ram
200GB 7200 RPM HDD (very much worth the speed increase)
Nvidia Geforce 8600M GT 256MB Video
8X Dual layer super drive

This is the newest Macbook Pro so see apple's site for more specs.

This is the matte screen version, which I think looks way better than glossy. Also, it has the new LED backlight, for better color and contrast.

Feel free to email me with questions. Thanks!

Alan Ortiz January 10th, 2008 04:26 PM

hey sam I just saw this so i resent you an email to the address provided above.

Sachtler DV-6SB SL Carbon Fiber Tripod System

Brand new. I just bought before Christmas, but I didn't opened till yesterday. I was in Europe, so the tripod arrived a day before I left. Turned out, I started to fix my teeth in my old country, so I need the money now. They inserted several implants for me there. I need to go back few months from now finishing the job, so I need the money for that.
I always want a higher end Sachtler, now finally get it, and before even use it, I need to sell. Saaaad.
But, my teeth cost me here around $24000 which I can't afford at all, there I will pay for the exact same job $6500 total. Welll... that's a BIG different.
So, that's why I need to sell this beauty.
Yesterday I opened, just to try my camera on it (JVC HD110) I tried with out any extra equipment worked wonderful with CB4. Later I tried with big Pag light, 130Wh battery and focus puller on 15mm rods. Still I just need counter balance #6 and worked like a charm. Guys, this is a beauty.
Top notch carbon fiber legs with speed lock, mid spreader, pan bar, sliding plate, rubber covers for the spikes and soft case.
Again, spanking new. In the States is running around $2100+ in Canada it's about $3000+
Give me a reasonable offer.
I prefer money order. If you want you can call me too: 519-999-7171

Laszlo

FS:Bogen 501 Head w/Manfrotto 3211v Legs

Hello everyone, as you can see from the title, I am selling my tripod. I got it from a friend who had a bunch of tripods and I don't really need it. The head is an original 501 so it does have cosmetic signs[some wearing around the corners], as is expected from a used head. It of course works perfectly and fluidly. The legs are in good condition. I'm selling it for 200[or best offer] with ups shipping included. If you have any more questions you can email me at xxchucky25xx@yahoo.com. Thank you. Here are some pictures. Sorry for the quality, I only have a pvgs120...which is why I'm selling the tripod.
