New Varizoom VZ-FCX

Has anyone had hands on experience with the new Varizoom VZ-FCX?

I have used it -- demonstrated it at numerous tradeshows -- and it's just fine. Straightforward operation through a geared mechanical linkage and cable. Primarily suited for tripod pan-handle use. About half the cost of standard Canon or Fujinon focus controllers from VariZoom's compertitors. Hope this helps,
