60D and batteries

Purchased in 2011 and used heavily for 1 year, after which it served as a back-up camera, rarely used. I'm selling because I replaced it with a GH4.

I'm including 5 batteries: 3 LP-E6 (Canon) and...

Re: A far better Dropbox

I now completely rescind my endorsement for copy.com.

I've had 4 links to clients expire in the past 2 weeks (all of the ones I've shared) and copy.com support has told me that I went over their...

Re: Arri 650

No longer looking for an Arri 650. I've realized my kit can't accommodate any more lights for the moment.

replace GPU in 2010 Mac pro?

I have a late 2010 2.8 Ghz Quad-core 24GB RAM Mac Pro with the ATI Radeon HD 5770. I am using Premiere CC (and AE CC a bit as well) and feeling like there is a lot of GPU power that I could be...

Re: Screen sharing with system audio

Thanks Juris! I'll check it out. It looks like it may have audio capability.

Re: Screen sharing with system audio

Hmm, I don't think that's quite what I'm looking for based on what I read of its features. The cost is a bit prohibitive as well.

I have to admit that I've become quite spoiled by the free...

Re: Screen sharing with system audio

Thanks for the suggestion! At this point my partner and I can't afford dual Adobe CC licenses, though, which I believe is what's required for Adobe Anywhere. Our workflow now is me rendering stuff...

Screen sharing with system audio

My production partner and I are moving further away from each other and we are looking into free screen sharing options for him to give me real-time feedback on edits. The only one I've found so far...

Arri 650

I'll take 2 if you've got 'em. I could also use resources for buying used in the Boston area.

Re: .mpv?

Yeah that was it. They wanted an .mov. Well I learned a lot anyway.

Thanks again, Christopher!

Re: .mpv?

You know what, I think the issue is just that they made a typo. The 'o' is right next to the 'p' after all.

:)

I'm 95% sure that this is what happened. I'll let you know if that is indeed the...

Re: .mpv?

Wow, thanks for that information, Christopher! Your solution with the mpeg-2 file sounds best. I'll try to get in touch with the concerned party directly as well to make sure this is really what they...

.mpv?

A broadcast client has asked me for delivery in .MPV fromat. Not M4V, not M2V, MPV. I can barely find anything on the web about the format except that it seems that it was used a very long time ago...

Re: Water bladder sandbags

I am happy with the hot water bottles / 30lb sandbag solution! Not the weightiest sandbag (around 8 lbs) but easy to fill the bottles while they're still in the bag and it packs pretty flat too.

Re: Water bladder sandbags

Re: Water bladder sandbags

I did a little more poking around B&H and found bigger sandbags:

Digital Juice 30 lb Sandbag - Empty 091217.3PAKSTARTERKT B&H

Much better. The hot water bottles will fit in them fine.

I'll...

Re: Water bladder sandbags

Thanks guys! The hot water bottle or Dromedary Bag seem like my best option but I'm still up against the hurdle of sandbag compartment size. Most sandbags I've found have a max interior compartment...

Water bladder sandbags

I do a fair amount of air travel with very short stops around the U.S. and I am tired of dealing with the extra weight caused by packing my filled sandbags. This week I had to dump out one of them...
