Combining footage 5D3 and G30

I have been using my 5D3 for awhile, and recently purchased the new G30.
I will be converting both to ProRes and importing into FCP7.0.3.
Which would be the best setting on the G30 to capture...

XHA1s and HV20

Apologize if covered before. checked previous posts and did not find.
Shot event with both cameras. Editing with FCP.
If I replay HV20 tapes in XHA1s will FCP capture 1920 footage from HV20 as 1440...
