I know what you mean. I keep fiddling with the tripod on my last wedding and now I finally got the 561 hbdv manfrotto monopod. Gonna use it on a wedding coming up in July.

Even, tell me how your wedding went after. In the meantime, I think I can get a 200 mm L f2.8 for 600 and I think I might jump the gun and get this lens.

I was camera/production assistant on a 48 hour film contest 2 weeks ago. We were using a 5d and for sound we have h4 and ntg2. What my director did that I disagree with was that he shoot each scene...

Allright then I guess I'll just get a lowel or 2 to get my feet wet and when I have a higher budget, I'll get an arri 650 for my main light.

seems like many people does start with lowel but then upgrade to Arri later on. I'm thinking of biting the bullets and just buy a 650 arri fresnel for starter because I don't want to upgrade in the...
