I think you are worrying about something will never happen. You don't have to convince the groom for anything. Just go do it. Then when you pin on their chest, it's close to their face usually...

Great job! I have been using my T3i until earlier this year. Sold them to replace with 6D. I miss T3i's 3x crop zoom and the articulating LCD screen. But 6D low light performance is amazing.
