Connecting 7D to IKan V8000HD - Component to HDMI

Is there a way to connect the 7D to the Ikan v8000HD component-only monitor? Is there some kind of adapter that can convert the HDMI signal of the camera to component?

I am working right now on a feature with the 5d Mark 2 and the 24-105 f4 IS almost exclusively and I can tell you that the IS system works perfectly well in video mode.

Yes you can. I am using myself the HV30 to transfer footage shot on an XLH1a, which is essentially the same camera (footage wise). The HV30 will be able to read your material in all frame rates.
