the instant auto focus button does work ok,...
the instant auto focus button does work ok, better in 50i than 25p but tbh if you have to rely on that rather than your sight, something is wrong and its slower.
you can up the sharpness of the lcd ...

shutter speed in spotlight mode.
Hi can anyone tell me please, is it possible to change the shutter speed whilst in spotlight mode?
The reason is I usually film in progressive mode 25f 1/50 shutter but i am looking to use spotlight...

have to agree with Andy.this sounds def like memory issue but it could also be somthing as simple as a flakey PSU i would put money on it not being vegas because from what you describe alot more...
