Re: Vegas 11, Mix 720 50p (600d) and 1080i (Sony MC50)

Match to the 50i footage as you need to deinterlace. This can mean you loose a bit of sharpness on the dslr footage.

Interpolate is normally best but if you plan to slow down the 50i footage...

Re: Canon EOS C100 Cinema EOS

Follow focus. Yes, but only with the $500 upgrade or if you use the 17-55mm lens.

Servo zoom. No. Time to drop that habit.

Re: c100 users enlighten me from the 60d

Are you planning on mixing with DSLR footage?

Re: 1DC Disappointment

Unfortunately Canon have a habit of deliberately crippling their cameras so you have a need to buy another.

There is no reason they cant fix this on the 1DC but they wont, they want you to buy a...

Re: Error: An unknown error occurred trying to save the video profile

Re: Did it really need two?

I find this normally happens when the second shooter is a contractor who doesnt shoot with the primary all that often. They are insecure, just copy the primary as they dont want to get in the shots...

Re: Error: An unknown error occurred trying to save the video profile

Thanks Juris, your answer fixed the error but now another problem.

I can now see it is creating the entry in the ini file, setting it to progressive but each time I start vegas and add a clip it...

Re: Change to full frame better or same as crop

C100 is...

Re: Change to full frame better or same as crop

We've just gone all C100 and I have to say, this thing is utterly amazing. ISO 20,000 is just beautiful and clean. Peaking, continuous recording.

On the focus side, dont get too excited. Its just...

Re: DSLR Users - Resolution/Frame Rates

Why dont you ask the people who are achieving what you are looking at what they do. If its on vimeo just drop them a line...

But things have...
