Reducing the sharpening in camera is a good thing. I shoot with with detail off as well. If I need to add some sharpening I'll do it along with the color correction pass.

You will want to copy the entire folder over from the SD card. Then bring into your software using its media browser.

I recomend skipping Sonys Content Browser for media management.
