Re: New York City + DSLR
No one ever comments on these sites anymore.
I liked your video, the pig thing was kinda gross..
It looked great, a couple of shots looked like they were shot at a higher frame rate but overall...

Re: Cameras that fly under a Phantom
Weight is certainly a consideration in choosing a camera to fly. As was already mentioned you can trade weight for flight time, the heavier the camera the shorter the flight.
If your goal is to...

Aerial Ballet: Camarillo Springs Fire
Just some shots of Aerial Bombers, Helicopters and Bulldozers as they fight the Camarillo Springs fire May 2013.
It was incredibly windy for such a long lens so some of the shots are a bit shaky....

AP, Whose doing it and How?
I think having a "Flying Cameras" category is a great idea. Most AP forums are about the RC helicopter or multirotor and not the photography and tools other than the RC.
It would be great to have...

Re: DJI Phantom Quadcopter First Flight -- Fail
Loved your sense of humor. Keep practicing, they're not that difficult to fly and can be a lot of fun. Also you might need to adjust your expectations a bit, its one thing to be good at flying them...

Re: Suggestion and Survey: Aerial Shoots
Its nice to see a forum for AP.
I do a lot of AP and love it. Here's a couple of samples.
This was shot with a Canon 7D out of a Bell Jet Ranger using a bungee cord.

I'm not sure what this is about either.

I have been shooting HD video with the 7D and just got a 5D3, I haven't shot with it yet, I decided to actually read the manual.
The manual doesn't get into much detail about the differences...
