I tend to think FCP does slow motion very well. Often people think our slow mo was done with a third party plugin.

The new version of FCP solves the problem your talking about automatically.

Igal,

I know you can get nice tin cases at effectuality.com. They work well and are under $1.00 each when order in bulk.

http://www.jewelboxing.com has some neat stuff too.

I have had it on one or two lists, which is pretty low, but never for a recap or highlights. We always suggest they leave the highlights music to us and 90% do, which is great as we don't get stuck...

Thanks for the comments. I've been spending more time on my color work and I have 6 or 7 batches of filters (like a photoshop action) which seem to be working very well. All of the color work...

Jason,

Barring the wedding that I forgot the steadicam arm at home, I always use the unit with the arm. Boy did I pay the price in terms of fatigue when I forot the arm though.

Jason,

The feet shot while they were dancing was done with the steadicam upside down, in other words the cheap low mode. As the balance is so good on the unit, doing tilts while moving or going...

I think it worked well. You had some great shots in there in terms of the glidecam and angles and you also caught some great expressions.
