Combine 720p with 1080p, and slowmo questions.
If I plan to shoot some footage in 720p60 for the sake of slowing down in post, should I go ahead and shoot the rest of my footage in 720p to match, or does it make sense to shoot the rest in 1080? ...

Re: Functionality of non-native lenses?
I have the Voigtlander 25mm already, but that lens is purely manual. I was just wondering if I were to get a lens that wasn't purely manual. In that case I'll definitely need a lens with an...

Re: Auto ISO?
Auto ISO saved my life today. I did my first gig filming real estate on a merlin. My god I had to keep stopping for every room to readjust the exposure. I'm used to always filming in fully manual...

Do you guys change your aspect ratio to 4:3 or 3:2 when shooting stills? Is there any benefit to shooting in those vs 16:9? Obviously using 16:9 would be good if the stills will be incorporated in...

Canon T3i vs Panasonic GH2
Anyone have any opinions or experience with the two? Check out this link, it seems in almost no time the Canon has surpassed the Panny, but on forums people are saying the 720p60 isn't good and the...

Re: Canon XH A1 vs Canon 7D
Although the selection of native lenses for the GH2 isn't great, due to the mirrorless design you can fit almost any lens on there with an adapter. The Panny also has a better processor, a flip out...
