Not for slides, but one of my scanners has a photo feeder.

I can put a stack of pics in the top and it'll automatically scan them all. It's been great.

Dan, All you need to do is set the end...

Dan,

All you need to do is set the end action for the particular track to be the beginning of the track.

So when it gets to the end, it will be told to jump to chapter one of that track.

This could be. I use TDK tapes, 6 for $16 at Costco. I've used them in every camera I've had since starting my business.

For the price, I'll deal with 2 dropouts per 50+ hours of footage. ;)

My first project with my FX1 I shot about 23 hours of footage over 2 months. I had two instances with dropouts, both as bad as they say (about 15 frames lost).

Both were during interviews...

For those that care...

The battery lasted another 2.5 hours, about 5 hours in total. So the capacity seems to be there, just a screwed up timer.

Got some batteries from Power101.com

After reading here that some people were using these batteries, I decided to try them out. For only $50 I got 2 of the largest ones (6 hour) for my FX1.

The camera doesn't have any trouble using...

The data rate is about 3200 kbits/sec.
