Re: Audio advice for recording a lecture
Joe, since they have 4 mics I assume they have a board/mixer in place, I suggest speaking with the AV guy about getting a feed from the mixer to your camera.
My 2 cents

Re: What to do when Weddings are Scarce?
I really try not get affected when shooting funerals. I don't listen to the speeches and try not to look at the emotions of the greiving family. The only time it really affected me was the time when...

Re: What to do when Weddings are Scarce?
I shoot Birthdays (Filipino 18th to be exact), they are as extravagant as weddings. Basically it is like a wedding shoot without the ceremony. Advertise on the local Filipino community newspaper in...

Nothing worst than what happened to a photographer friend of mine. Someone stole his camera during a wedding shoot. All the photos taken (Bride prep, ceremony, park) gone. It got stolen at the...

Michael Bay from what I read is a dictator on set, does that make him a good director? This is an interesting topic, should we equate box office success in the formula.
I like Clint Eastwood in my...

My experience is based on Canada to USA with gear. I work for an AV Company, if we have shows in the states. The first question they ask is what are you doing with your gear in the US? The US is...

I have both of them. I use the DSLR for controlled environments like the Bride Prep, Park, details at reception. I use my Video Camera at the ceremony and reception. I am a single shooter as well, so...

Being a Marvel comics fan in my childhood days, I really enjoyed the movie. The only caveat is I have to watch it on 3D, the non-3D theatres are sold out. I find the 3D Visuals appealing but had the...

Re: Sweet 16 Videography Job - Recommendations ?
I shoot a lot of 18th Birthdays, I usually shoot the prep and treat it like a wedding. It is less formal to do than weddings and being 16 or 18, they are much more open into ideas. They love the...

Thanks John & Chris. The footage looks lovely btw.

Re: Sony VG20 - 1st impressions
Thanks for the review. I am planning to sell my HD1000U and grab a VG20 to act as my main cam. I am still keeping my T2i as a 2nd camera.
What's your take on the lens that comes with the VG20? I...

Re: Can't really get a Job.. Help me out?
Try sending your resume to a head hunter, they would "edit" your resume as they deem fit. I would also join linkedin to get your name out there and connect with peers.
My 2 cents
