Re: What is your most embarrassing wedding moment as a videographer?

WOW. That's seriously uncalled for behavior by the MC. Also highly inconsiderate of many other people who have probably been there forever waiting for the main events to take place.

Re: Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 announced as paid update

There's a few great things I like about the update reports for 5.5, but the notion that their monthly subscription is highly affordable I can't believe that. After 2 months you pretty much pay for...

Re: CS5 DSLR Editing: Bigger RAM or upgrade Video Card?

Pete-

Thx for taking the time to post! The GTX 260 actually is a CUDA card. I just have a feeling it's the absolute bare minimum and makes things hiccup pretty poorly. I'm pretty sure you're...

Re: First Wedding shot on DSLR last July... Anne & Cameron

Michael-

The hard thing with that is finding 2 songs that would universally work well with the edited piece, otherwise you might be editing twice to match the feel of the music.

For next year I...

Re: CS5 DSLR Editing: Bigger RAM or upgrade Video Card?

Randall-

You'd be correct that I have 6 dimms filling all RAM slots of 2GB chips. I'd be okay with replacing them all and then selling my other DIMMs used. I don't know many people who even have...

Re: CS5 DSLR Editing: Bigger RAM or upgrade Video Card?

Sorry about that.

My OS is a single SSD and then my drives I have my work on are single independent drives. So it sounds like I should run a RAID 0 and get a couple identical SATA drives and that...

First Wedding shot on DSLR last July... Anne & Cameron

I have shot a lot since this time, but this was my test run couple using DSLR for my wedding videography. Quite a few brides have said they cry when they watch it because it was emotional for them. ...

CS5 DSLR Editing: Bigger RAM or upgrade Video Card?

Hello!

I know my video card is on the bottom end of support for CS5, but wanted to know if I'd get a much faster response out of upgrading my video card to a GTX 480 or if I should up my RAM to...

Re: B Cam suggestions for the 5D II?

Does anyone use those GoPro HD cameras for interesting cutaway shots for their weddings? I know they're no DSLR, but they seem to output some impressive images if you needed something to just cut to...

Re: Why not give all raw footage?

Travis-

Well... Just given how much they paid for their package and what little is given in the finished product (even though it takes a lot of time to edit and color process well) I just think...

Re: Why not give all raw footage?

I give the raw footage on my highlights packages. I don't have anything to hide really. IMO The people should have a right to see it, and I make every effort to make sure each shot is done well and...

Re: Your input on Lens purchase (Zeiss or Canon)?

Your input on Lens purchase (Zeiss or Canon)?

So I've been doing a lot of looking at different lenses out there and I here things from both sides on what I should ultimately buy.
