Thanks Seth! ...

Dumb question: what is messing with my footage brightness?

Hi all,

I feel silly for asking this, but I'm stumped and would love to find out what's affecting my footage.

The problem: Even when I'm in manual mode, with iris set to manual, with gain set...

Hey Justin,

I freely admit I've never done anything like 8 hours of run & gun, but I can also say with certainty that my EX1 would absolutely need a brace of some kind even for 5 minutes of R&G. ...

Hi Phil! Really enjoying the updates.

I noticed on your site that you have a Steadicam Merlin. Have you tried it with the EX1 yet, and if so, how has it handled? Thanks!

John,

Sounds like fun! I'll be more in the packed-bar rock scene 'round Austin (at least some of the time), so I'll need to be mobile. I'd love to see the results of a test like that for sure...

Bottom line: is the audio any kind of a dealbreaker?

Hi all!

Time to upgrade my camera setup, and while the EX1 is hard to get and in early-adopter phase, I've been thinking about the V1U. I've poured over the previous threads on the subject, but...

Sorry about the lack of a PG-13 sort of warning -- for those who haven't seen it, "glue" has some adult-type situations (no nudity or anything, though), so beware of having your sound...
