Re: How you do this?

I'm sure in that 70 minutes there were several people talking. I would switch tapes, like he said earlier about 10 seconds, in between speeches. Usually if I have about 15 minutes left and one person...

Re: Help, I'm Drowning... In DSLR

The question I ask myself, is what look would I want if it were MY wedding? After looking at a lot of skilled cinematographers/videographers I prefer the look of the shallower depth of field. I'm not...

Re: Sony Fx7 Steadicam or Slider?

It's not a matter of what will work with that camera, it's a matter of preference, as your camera will work with either. I started a thread that is current on the wedding section regarding which one...

Re: What do YOU use more? Steadicam/glidecam, or slider

I've been using my steadicam merlin mostly. It folds up easily, I can shoot handheld for prep stuff, and drop the lower spar and I can get some nice steadicam shots with it in a matter of seconds....

I've been reading a few post lately about different slider shots, and it got me thinking, Which one is used more at your weddings? Sliders or steadicam's? The more I look at new wedding shorts coming...

I book weddings based on examples of my work online. The couples that hire me based on my look, have no clue what I'll be using for a camera, and quite frankly I don't think they care. If they see...
