Re: Anyone planning to buy the C300?

Re: First RED Wedding Booked!

Re: First RED Wedding Booked!
Exactly why I figured I'd give it a shot. The only reason why I don't think every DSLR shooter shooting weddings won't move over to it at some point is because its probably cost prohibitive for most...

Re: First RED Wedding Booked!
It would indeed but I'm hiring a DIT who is going to give me a deal, my second shooter works on me on every wedding and he has his set rate, and I own the cameras so I don't need to worry about...

Re: First RED Wedding Booked!
Wow Missed a lot of comments, I'll try to address as much as I can.
Right now I'm planning on shooting a little with Scarlets, a Little with an Epic, and having 5D's and 7D's on site as a back...

Re: How Much Video Is "Staged"
This is exactly how I do it but I'll add that sometimes I may ask them if they'd mind not doing something until I get ready. I won't do that often but if there is a moment I really want but I'm not...

Re: Help me decide on a logo
I think this logo is definitely on the right track.. I might suggest that you bring the gradient down a little bit more as its still a bit distracting.. I was going to say also loose the texture but...

my wedding last night went well. my second shooter bailed on me and in the rush to get out of there before the eye hit I left my h4n recorder behind. Other than that, it went smoothly and I think...

Re: Tips and/or Thank-Yous
I never get Tips, but the couple almost always tips my assistant. Like Travis said, they wouldn't tip you if they didn't want you to have it. Cash it and count it as extra cash you didn't know you...
