The way I do it is this. I'm not charging for the camera because they're not getting that camera quality, later down the line I will charge but this is a one time only thing to make sure the camera...

Exactly why I figured I'd give it a shot. The only reason why I don't think every DSLR shooter shooting weddings won't move over to it at some point is because its probably cost prohibitive for most...

It would indeed but I'm hiring a DIT who is going to give me a deal, my second shooter works on me on every wedding and he has his set rate, and I own the cameras so I don't need to worry about...

Right now I'm planning on shooting a little with Scarlets, a Little with an Epic, and having 5D's and 7D's on site as a back...

wow I'm impressed 27 hours of footage? I usually get 9!

I can hit total projects of around 1TB depending on raw footage, prores, assets, and documents.

Yep everything is still expensive, but slow... but thats not to say that my highlights only thing is cheap... I still charge a lot for it, but its not my highest end package but its good for me...

I do offer it and this summer with the economy not being in the best shape and budgets being low its pretty much all brides wanted.. which was great for me, its quick and easy in post production.

Agree, I use the H4N for some things but I wouldn't think about putting it on a groom. I use a H1 for any on groom mic placement if I'm not doing wireless.

I've done it.. I maintained copyright though and only gave them limited rights to edit their footage and to display it privately.. I charged $900 for the day of shooting and delivered all the footage...
