I always cover the cakecutting with my steadicam so I can quickly move when needed but with a ceremony at a venue I have 3 unmanned camera's pointed towards the action, one center and 2 on each side...

That shimmering effect is also what I see in high detail scenes like a wide shot with hedges in the background which produce a very noticeable shimmering effect probably caused by a too high shutter...

I also don't see any issues with the footage, looks normal to me when I view it in Edius. Like Cary said, if you shoot in 25fps instead of 50fps you need to do slower pans.

When I shoot in HD all my camera's are set to 50P, recent wedding I have started to shoot 4K on all camera's and then it's all 4K 25p except my gh5 which was shooting 4K50P.

I think most of us, incl me, suffer a bit from GAS but if you still have a xf100 which is a camera that was released in 2011 means you probably hold on to your camera a lot longer then most of us do....
