It will not focus and zoom at the same time in manual, but it will focus and zoom at the same time if you use auto focus like the push AF.

Hi Marshall, is the Sony LED light a daylight equivalent light or is it 3200K? Also what is the maximum output on it as compare to a halogen light, any info on that would be greatly appreciated....

I played with it a little bit but I see more video noise in low light when I use 30f at 1/30th and 24f at 24th than 60i at 60th of a second, do you guys see that?

Auto gain is handy in certain situation with live event but with A1, it is useless and a waste of a button because you can't limit your gain.

I see it too with the A1 but I mostly use manual focus so it doesn't bother me that much, you can't rely on auto focus with any brand, I do have Sony Z1 and it does not hunt like A1 but I don't...

My first impression side by side with the Z1 using the same monitor is that under good to fair light it is better much much sharper but when the light level is lower then the Z1 is better, A1 is not...
