Try setting the same preset timecode on both...

Try setting the same preset timecode on both cameras (i.e. 01:00:00:00) then use the IR remote for one of the cameras to start them recording at the same time.

You'll need to set both EX1's right...

It'll be interesting to see how things play out. I currently shoot and edit for a SD show that we're considering taking to HD in the future, but since it would likely run on a second tier HD network...
