Re: Shooting interviews, 1 camera or 2?
If there is time to do more than one take, I often do interviews using only one camera but using various different lenses or a single zoom lens.

Re: Sony A99 with impressive video
The biggest problem with the Sony A99 (and earlier A77 version) is that it only allows autofocus in video mode when the aperture on the lens is set to widest aperture, so is redundant most of the...

Re: Excellent BMC - Canon Mk III comparison
Brian, I think at that price point, the weather-sealed GH3 with its far better form-factor, handling, system add-ons, quality stills image files, AVCHD capture up to 1080/50p and a QuickTime mode...

Re: GH3: Buzz buzz b-buzz
Lee, if you need small size and weight, the GF-1 and GX-1 are great cameras in a tiny packet...and the GX1 performs very close to the GH2 in terms of video and stills images (or the G3, which has...

Re: you CANNOT zoom with the GH2
ALL stills cameras, not just Panasonic, that are fitted with a non-fixed aperture lens will 'flicker' during zooming in video mode. The light passing through the lens cannot be expected to remain the...
