Re: Would you have used an LED light?

In scenes like this it's better to have a monopod so you can easily move around if need be, and yes an LED light on the camera is a must. I have invested on the Comer CM-LBPS1800 On-Camera LED Light...

Joel
A very well done video. The inserted pictures gave the video a really professional look. You should be proud of this. What camera did you use?

Re: Opteka steadyvid pro steadicam review

Trevor I also believe that the gimbal is to blame because when you balance the thing, a slight movement of your hand from the vertical position makes it to lean on one or the other side. Anyway as i...

Re: Opteka steadyvid pro steadicam review

Well after spending many many frustrated hours in trying to shoot "steady" shots with this unit I gave up. Money spent for nothing. The Active Steadyshot function of my NX5 is much, much better that...

Re: New business, could use a few specific tips.

Hi Chris
OK I see now why you shoot HD, With my NX5 though the HD format is MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 (AVCHD)
and the SD format is MPEG-2 PS so filming in SD as well it's fine for me.

Re: New business, could use a few specific tips.

Re: New business, could use a few specific tips.

Yes Chris is absolutely right. It's not the tech aspect that counts but how "good" she and her brides maid looks at the video. I always shoot with SD and HD modes (Sony NX5) and almost all my DVD...

Re: How crucial is great audio quality really?

Noa,
There is no way you can put a lavalier on the groom because he says nothing in the ceremony. What you probably saw is a prayer that bride and groom say, sometimes (depending on the priest)) and...
