Megabytes and megabits
There is much confusion because sd cards give you speed in megabytes and bitrates are given in megabits. There are 8 megabits per megabyte.
Thus 87.9 Mbps = just 11MBps (megabytes per second)....

The EOS M out of the box provides full manual control in video (shutter, aperture, ISO all independently fixed at whatever you want), or shutter, aperture fixed, but ISO auto), or all three auto....

There sure is - wireless remote for both stills and starting and stopping video. There is a sensor on the camera for it. Canon RC-6. The manual (the detailed one) explains its use.

No, but you can do 1280 x 720 at 24fps
Here is an example:

RAW video now working
I got RAW video working:
Make sure the modules are loaded (gear icon on top of ML menu).
Make sure you are in video mode (hardware dial on top of camera).
Set RAW video to 'on' in the video...
