Hi Bob, Remove your battery from the Xl1s...

Hi Bob,

Remove your battery from the Xl1s and you should be able to figure where is the serial number. :)

If you shoot at fixed distances, put your len is manual focus mode (and avoid the "Green Box Mode") and your focus adjustements will be preserved.

Shutter speed on XL1 vs XL1s

XL1s Shutter speed can be set to anything between 1/8 to 1/15000. The XL1 can only set the shutter speed between 1/60 to 1/15000. 1/8, 1/15 and 1/30 setting must be selected in the digital effects...
