I don't have the drive in front of me right now, but I'm pretty sure it's FAT32 format. Does the 4gb limit pertain to individual files, because I have definitely transferred 20gb+ 'folders' of files...

firewire cable for HV30

will the hv30 accept the same firewire cable as the canon gl1/2s use?? I have an extra cable and I'm receiving my hv30 tomorrow..I assume it doesn't come with the firewire cable?? please advise
