Re: Panasonic gx80 for weddings
Sorry for the late reply, I missed your last question, when you are in the menu: "custom" you have to select "shutter af" and turn that to on. If I want to shoot with manual focus I have a button set...

Re: C100 MkI Pricing? Buy now or wait?
No-one knows the pricing strategy of Canon and why or when that might change, I think the only person to answer your question is yourself. If you need the camera and know the price has gone down then...

If I would be asked to do something like this I would digitize the tapes and charge her for that and then ask her to view those 20 hours of footage herself and take notes which segments matter to...

Re: How do you grade yourGH4/ G7 footage?
Well, I"ll be, just zoomed from 100% to 200% on 4K footage on a 4K timeline and exported as 4K footage and zoomed in from 50% to 100% on 4K footage on a 1080p timeline and exported as a 1080p file so...

Re: How do you grade yourGH4/ G7 footage?
Sorry but that makes makes no sense, if you edit 4k footage in a 4k project and when you crop the footage you will start to loose detail which is not the case if you edit 4k footage in a 1080p...

Having to activate wide DR to somewhat solve the flicker problem is not a normal behavior of a good functioning camera, the problem you have shown is something I have not seen in any camera I ever...

Handbrake is perfect to make a low bitrate file that looks almost equally good in comparison with a much higher bitrate file I render out of Edius, the audio quality however is not good and I have...

You only had me confused as you first didn't know what xdcam stands for and questioned if there was market left that demands MPEG 2 but then apparently you know all about broadcast standards. So if I...

Re: Can Sony AX100 rec in 10 bit?
Not sure what advantage a 8bit or 10 bit output from a camera would have when displaying it on a tv? I thought this only has a benefit when grading?
Also I think expecting a 10bit output from a...

In 4K though the aliasing is almost not visible but it's best to turn the sharpness down, in HD the aliasing can be a problem when you shoot with wide lenses, I have been using the camera exclusively...
