Another HV30 price drop?

Can anyone point out why the HV30 keeps dropping in price. Just about a week ago I freaked out that B&H dropped it to $600.

....Now it's $550.

Am I missing something or is canon just about...

Thanks james. So I guess I would be sacrificing smoother pans for a more efficient setup if i went with the 501/leveling head instead of the 503hdv. I'll definitely be considering this.
