If you have 2 cameras, I don't see the point in using just one. Set both up at the very least, if you find in post that you need additional footage because you had to reposition your "manned" camera...

I was thinking of getting Z5u over the FX1000...
I was thinking of getting Z5u over the FX1000 because it has the XLR inputs, but they are a few thousand over a used A1. So if the A1 produces good images in low light, I'm not sure I can justify...
