Why FF Lenses? Why "L" Series?

I know everyone has their own POV on the matter of lenses, so here's mine…

Dan "The Man"

I had a similar experience after my recent purchase of a Nano Flash unit. I had quite a few questions for Dan and Mike before I bought, and they were always quick to respond. My first D-Tap to Hirose...

A Day on the Rio Parismina

I put together a quick edit I thought I'd share. I shot this footage in Costa Rica, at the Rio Parismina Lodge, for an upcoming project. All of the shots except two were taken with the GH1. Enjoy…

Actually…

That's why you're excited, Phil. I'll pass.

QuickTime Player

Hdmi

So, does anyone have an answer to the OP's question? Is the HDMI out on this thing hobbled like it is on the 5DMkII?

Zacuto Quality

I've looked at Zacuto products for quite some time, but only last week bought my first piece of Z-kit: the Tactical DSLR Shooter. All I can say is that the images and videos don't do this product...

Ewa-Marine

I've used an Ewa-Marine "bag" with my HPX170 and HVX200 cameras. As long as you're within a few feet of the surface, you should be okay. Any deeper than that and…

Just don't go any deeper than...

Good to know Andy, since I placed my order for the 500GB model first thing this morning with you guys. :D

I'll be punishing it pretty hard in the next two months, and I'll post a full field review...

…equals massive FAIL.

Interesting to see that type of 5D footage. Looks nice, except for those rolling shutter flashes.

A Big +1…

Sometimes I think many of us (myself included) focus far too much on making "this" look like "that," or trying to emulate a certain look or feel, much of which often pulls us further and further away...

EX1 Focusing

Dean,

It's interesting how two people can be completely different in how they focus. I hardly ever use the eyepiece, preferring the LCD screen with the SockLoupe. I also use the peaking feature...

Dean,

Which brace are you using with the EX1 and what do you think of it? (Sorry to thread-jack.)
