Update: Sony couldn't do anything. Seems that if you have a corrupt file you're pretty much screwed.

Was forced to start re-edit, couldn't wait any longer for Sony to respond had to hire in a 2nd editor to help. Just annoying to know that a project is edited, graded & ready for render only to go...

Canon DSLR codec. Any FX does it, disabling graphic acceleration solves the problem but now I don't have acceleration. I also have the latest drivers. It's not permanent it only does the blue once...

Why is this happening?

When I apply an effect such as a Color Curve to my clip in Vegas Pro, the effect appears blue at first but moving to the next frame displays the picture correctly until you adjust the curve again...

Ever since I changed my "Dynamic RAM Preview max (MB):" to 64Mb my Vegas 11/12 has been rock solid, zero crashes as opposed to crashing every few minutes.

Thanks Jim will give the disabled indexing a try sometime but so far my Vegas is rock solid for the first time in over a year. Gets to me that I suffered for so long under instability.

Thanks for the advice Coral! I have 16Gb of RAM & usually go with 4Gb of DRP. Update: Vegas is rock solid after decreasing my DRP, not a single crash in two days while constantly editing.

Sadly I think it's more serious than drivers in my case. ATI 6800 Series with the latest drivers (updated automatically). I think it was Jeff that said his nVidia was also giving problems so not sure...
