2:3 24p on FCP
why does my 2:3 24p showing up as a interlaced in FCP? i have my sequence at 23.98 and turned off "fields" but im getting nasty interleaved images on my videos. whats wrong?

weird 24p problem in FCP
okay, when i go scrub frame by frame i dont get interlacing but when i pla in real time, i get really bad interlacing...whats going ON?

"scene detect" on fcp?
Premeire Pro has a "scene detect" feature during capture where it captures the tape and automatically splits up the footage shot by shot, does FCP have this? I can't seem to find it.

thanks but ive seen that review it doesnt help me, like i said, id mainly be using it for editing and after effects and with the iMovie HD benchmark, the 3 second differential doesn't seem to warrent...

2.5 quad vs 2.0 dual, big difference?
Will there be a huge performace difference between a 2.5 quad and a 2.0 dual, both with 4gb of ram while using FCP, After Effects, or Shake? i would really like to save some money, if the performance...
