I just used quicktime pro, yes my file is huge mainly because i didnt compress the music (which i probably should). just be sure to set ur settings as best quality and it should turn out fine.

Eniola: I'm glad you liked the scenes. I used a Canon XL2 to shoot the movie and for color correction I just used FCP color corrector and Color Finesse for the Day for Night shots.

why does my 2:3 24p showing up as a interlaced in FCP? i have my sequence at 23.98 and turned off "fields" but im getting nasty interleaved images on my videos. whats wrong?

"scene detect" on fcp?

Premeire Pro has a "scene detect" feature during capture where it captures the tape and automatically splits up the footage shot by shot, does FCP have this? I can't seem to find it.
