I had the same issue about the foam. I remember reading though, that with a bit of spray adesive and a night to dry, the foam is much more sturdy.

Part of the issue I think is that the programs from CS 3 are still 32bit which have their own memory addresssing limits. Hopefully you will find 64bit more stable due to the signed drivers and such....

I have used Premiere's built in de-interlacer....

I have used Premiere's built in de-interlacer. Its the check box on the encoder. But most of the time I use either FFMPEG or Sorenson Squeeze.
