In a setup like this, how difficult would it be to keep from only receiving the middle rays from the 35mm lens? (ie. The side rays would spread out and miss the DV camera if they are not 'captured'...

Well...I can't say an exact measurement of the wax thickness but this should give you an idea: I took a couple of thin strips of aluminum foil (regular stuff - not heavy duty)...

It is slightly out of focus, which is one of the best ways to get grain to show up.

No post has been done except for the letterboxing....
