Re: Vimeo alternatives

To explain full controll a bit further, I would like to have the ability to show or hide, with or without password, any of my videos. I also don't want any advertisement in my films at all and I...

Re: Vimeo alternatives

I have a very fast connection, youtube films play at 4k with no issue, it's vimeo only that gives me and my clients issues in playback.

Vimeo alternatives

It looks like every weddingvideographer is using Vimeo these days but I am experiencing issues with playback, I get buffering, sometimes switching to lower quality (it says it's 1080p but looks like...

Re: Zoom H1n unboxing

The first one I had (which was a first gen H1) had this battery draining issue, I believe they solved it with the 2nd gen H1) I learned the hard way placing the battery one day before a wedding in...

Re: Broadcast Cameras for Church

This.

After seeing Brocks video and taking into consideration there is only a very limited budget for new camera's it doesn't make much sense to "upgrade" if the current camera's still perform...

Re: How do you make an animated logo?

The easy way would be to rent after effects for one month and buy one of the many logo after effects templates you can find on sites like videohive.net, most of these templates are easy to adjust but...

Re: Good and small monitor for my gh5s

That ninja v did cross my mind but kinda pricey at around 1300euro (tax incl) with a 1TB ssd included, it doesn't seem to come with a battery but I have plenty of sony batteries.

Will have to wait...

Good and small monitor for my gh5s

I keep having issues finding accurate focus on my gh5s, the camera's own peaking is just not good and the lack to punch in to focus makes it a very unreliable camera to judge manual focusing. I do...

Re: Viewfinder for LCD: have you ever used it?

Considering where you will be shooting you"ll need something to shield off incoming sunlight when you look through the viewfinder, what's on the gh5 now is not sufficient for that purpose. A addon...

bts shots from the latest mission impossible

This is really cool to see Tom Cruise doing all his own stunts and check out what kind of equipment they use and especially that helmetcamera around the 24 min mark! Very funny to see them discuss...

re: Should I use 4K vs HD? I need advice.

I forgot to mention that, this must be the nr one complaint from users at how difficult it is to see anything on the screen in full sunlight.

re: Should I use 4K vs HD? I need advice.

I don't have a sony a6xxx series but from what I have read and seen the HD mode on this camera is not very good, HD looks a lot softer in detail compared to 4K scaled down, in 4K this camera however...

Re: Is it better a monopod or tripod to make videos? I already have a gimbal

You could put that head on a monopod or tripod, the Benro IT15 that Adriano had in mind can function as tripod and monopod because one of the legs can detach to serve as a monopod but it doesn't...

Re: Is it better a monopod or tripod to make videos? I already have a gimbal

Again, that "nuova testa" is a photohead, it cannot be used for smooth pan and tilts, it's only good for choosing a frame and lock the head in place, if that is what you need then ok but don't expect...

Re: Is it better a monopod or tripod to make videos? I already have a gimbal

Don' take my word for it :) If the review says that Manfrotto 327RC2 is good enough for video then go for it.

Re: Is it better a monopod or tripod to make videos? I already have a gimbal

The Nuova testa is not a tripod head for video, you only can lock the head in a fixed position, the Testa fluida video per Befree will give you more pan/tilt possibilities.

Re: Is it better a monopod or tripod to make videos? I already have a gimbal

That's why the Benro IT15 that Adriano had in mind could be the best of both worlds as one tripod leg can be taken off so it can transform between tripod and monopod, it's only the ball head that...

Re: Is it better a monopod or tripod to make videos? I already have a gimbal

That Benro has a photo tripod ball head but that doesn't mean you can't use it for locked off shots, most likely it will allow you to do pans. With a lever do you mean a handle? If so, that won't be...
