i don't shoot S&Q on SDHC, i only use Sandisk cards, 1400 hours haven't lost a single clip, had a few 'media needs to be restored', but i also had that with SxS used;

I own scarlet too, and i agree that it is far from being perfect in terms of power consumption and low light performance,( and that freakin fan!) but the image is so good and so post flexible, it's...

one hour is nothing, you need at least two hrs on two media units, considering that backup time is faster than capacity of one card;
i guess we'll find out soon enough, but for $15K i...

$1K? let's be realistic, this and this, and we're talking 1080, not 4K;
although it might be $4-5K FW upgrade, ( i doubt that) but still not at that low price level, SxS memory costs way more than...

usually transmitter is on the belt, and receiver is paired with the field recorder, or camera, depending on your setup, certainly you can keep it on the belt, but with the longer cable, not sure if...

Digital Dreams -Toronto Music Festival
was shooting on Scarlet July 1 and 2 Ontario Place, crazy 2 days of non stop music,
there were also 2 Epics, but unfortunately i don't have an access to that footage;
was very hot, but it was real...

as another option try to find used flyer - very good design, but you'll need to do some mods to support HD signal, i have never tried to fly Aviator, but i know that you always get what you are...
