Spiderbrace and Bogen mount

I have a 501 head on my tripod and I keep the mount on the bottom of my A1 all the time. I want to be able to switch the camera back and forth between the Spiderbrace and 501 without taking the mount off the camera. Is there an adapter plate I can mount on the Spriderbrace?

Couldn't you just keep the camera mounted to the spider brace and then just mount the spider brace to the 501? I've seen the spider and I'm sure it'll allow freedom of movement while mounted on the tripod? Just a thought.

I did something similar with HC1 on a varizoom shoulder rig:

I wouldn't mind mounting the spiderbrace to the tripod. That would actually be pretty cool. How would you go about doing that though?

Thanks for the bogen part number by the way... I think that's what I wanted to know.
