Very well done, and very professional looking trailer. Really like the graphics, and title page. From the little I saw of the interviews, I thought they looked good, and felt interesting (would like to see more of the guy's involvement with the martial arts, as I used to practice oh-so-long-ago :)

I'm always impressed of people's websites that can play flash movies. Might ask for some pointers on how you do that...

I thought it was a bit too long, i think you should make an shorter version also, so if some busy producers are watching it, they'll get the idea quicker(you should also put that 3.15 shot somewere in beginning, it will make a person watch till end)

After my beloved Sony A1U failed me(after ingesting Maxell cassette bought at gas station)
I had to continue filming, I had time to film the British Red arrows on a another(sony tape) but I missed the Thunderbirds, and the Blue Angels cancelled due to bad weather.

So I used my Macbook pro and imovie6
I filmed by guessing and use the crowd fences as a tripod.But you cannot control the angle when your back to the computer.And the battery not fully charged made me miss the performance of the Thunderbirds.
Now I need a stabilizer for laptop, and a new camera while the A1U is at the garage.
edited in Final cut pro
audio: imovie + a second(security) track on audacity.just had to use audio of I movie for the edit bout double it and a bit echo on track B, an Eq on track A

"Nave #527" - Shortfilm shooted with HVX200
 

Hi everyone,

"Nave #527″ is my latest shortfilm. It has been aired the 2 june as an exclusive at Dailymotion. It was produced by weare, with the support of the Government of Aragón and the Zaragoza History Center. It was shoot in october 2007, in HD format (Panasonic HVX200), in Zaragoza and Sariñena (Spain).

Plot

Kai wakes up in a strange place. He is confused and feels sick. He can’t remember anything, and although the place feels familiar to him, he doesn’t find the way out. A strange man dressed in black appears suddenly, asking him about a girl, Luna. Kai doesn’t know what he is talking about.

Hey everyone, here are links to four episodes that we created. The series is called Eye of Sita and it's a comedy/action/drama. It's about a group of professionals going after a famous diamond (hence the title). Two of professionals also want to be filmmakers so they're playing director and actor while on the job(killing, stealing, etc). This is my first post here. I'm a longtime reader of this great site. So anyway, I finally worked up my nerve to upload to the net the first paid directing gig I've ever done and I was looking for some feedback (I tried posting it over at another site but I didn't get any responses). The piece in question is a music video that was shot on the HVX200 with no budget in one day and a half. The music is from a band from Mexico and they play in the 'grupero' genre. So anyway, let me know what you think.

I couldn't understand the words but the images told me the whole story. Very well done. Nice shot selection and good pacing on the edit.

"Secrecy"-New Short Film Now Online
 

The second in my "Love in Chinatown" series, I present my newest short film "Secrecy".

For those of you unfamiliar with the trilogy, I posted my first installment a few months ago entitled "Loveless". The "Loveless" thread is linked below:

The film features new characters in a new situation (although one actor from "Loveless" returns to play a new character, haha). The "Love in Chinatown" series is a trilogy consisting of 3 romance stories taking place within Chinatown and I'm scheduled to shoot the third one this Fall. As of now, I'm currently submitting "Loveless" and "Secrecy" into as many festivals as I can!

Plot:
John and Ami have been the best of friends for many years. Ami is currently pregnant with her boyfriend's child while John is his first serious relationship but all that is thrown into jeopardy due to one mistake in the past. A mistake that will effect all parties involved, especially the friendship of John and Ami. The second installment in the "Love in Chinatown" series.

Running Time: 18 minutes

Language: English

In my eyes, this film is a bit more grim than "Loveless". I personally thought I made it in a similar fashion to "Loveless" but, although my style and trademarks are apparent, many have said I approached this film differently in terms of overall execution (which pleases since it allows for two different viewing experiences).

5 Airports 1 Flight
 

Not necessarily looking for peer review (accepting this is not a work of art), but thought others might be interested in it.

This is what happens if you get up at 0130 on a summers' morning to go flying with the express intent of buzzing all 5 London Airports, then filming the result.

Only possible with the express approval of ATC (friends on the inside), and even then if there is no prospect of delaying airliners as a result - hence ridiculously early start.

In the UK, this kind of access is virtually impossible to get (certainly Heathrow in a fixed-wing light aircraft is impossible under normal circumstances - the others slightly easier, but still difficult). Even we didn't expect to get all five. I'm fairly certain this has never been done before (or since - it was filmed last year).

i thought that was excellent. I really enjoyed the story, the locations, the colours and especially the sound. I was a little unsure of the pacing at the begining of the film as it was abit hard to see where it was going but still i loved it.

Thanks for the comments. The sound was post-produced profesionnaly in a studio, that why it sounds so good (I'm glad I did it this time) :)

I understand your thoughts about the pacing, I edited the film this way, knowing it was going to be hard to follow, I wanted to provoke anguish via the editing.
